Fresh off his back-to-back MVP and Defensive Player awards, Milwaukee’s Giannis “Greek Freak” Antetokounmpo has just broke the mold by signing the largest NBA contract to date. At a staggering 5 year deal totaling at 228 million dollars, Antetokounmpo is fully committed to bringing a championship back to the cream city. Many were under the impression that with his final year coming up in the 2020-2021 season, the talented Giannis had his sights on different pastures. Now that this deal between the two parties is official, that speculation of any moment of the superstar can now disseminate in the cold of Wisconsin. Serving as the center piece for the Milwaukee franchise, the Bucks will now have their work cut out for them as they will need to place pieces around the Greek to ensure their investment pays off. One of those pieces being Jrue Holiday, who was acquired this offseason provides insight into how serious they are about making a run at the coveted NBA championship, currently held by the Los Angeles Lakers. With NBA season on the brink of starting, the NBA world will be monitoring the Milwaukee Bucks and the volatility of what could be a very interesting season.
