Spherical Beginnings

World renowned architect and 2015 NASA 3D-Printed Habitat challenge winner Masayuki Sono provides a sneak peak of his new spherical designed stand alone homes. With a noticeable gap in the housing market, since 2019, bringing these homes to the public market has been a strong and steady focus of Sono and Serendix Partners. Stemming from a rapid increase of new developers, designers, carpenters, and an ever growing population in Japan, Masayuki aims to to take the assistance of robotics and development to a whole new stratosphere. Using robots to 3D print entire houses, the automation of production and costs to develop new communities would subsequently reduce cost all together, significantly. The homes would be modest in size, but with a price tag to match. Roughly around $28,582, the price of your own home would technically be cheaper than most new cars, making it very attractable for those looking to own their property. This attractive pricing point would also minimize the notion of long-term mortgages, providing ownership and financial freedom at faster rate. Serendix Partners claims that their 3D printer can construct a home in 24 hours, requiring no human interaction. The spherical homes are also designed withstand natural disaster such as typhoons, hurricanes, and earthquakes. The development of life and its counterparts continue to enhance.
